The countdown to the Roads & Civil Works Expo is on – book your tickets now

The clock is ticking – the inaugural Roads & Civil Works Expo is just around the corner.

Tickets are on sale for the peak industry event, which will be run in conjunction with the 2016 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES) and Waste Management In Action.

Taking over the Melbourne Show Grounds from May 5 to 7, the momentous trade show is incorporating the cutting-edge innovations, services and companies leading the market in the Australian roads and civil, transport and waste sectors.

Show Director Simon Coburn says that organisations and individuals looking to attend the event, whether it is for a day or the entire three days, should start registering now.

“We’re inviting everybody from every aspect of the industry to come along to this exciting event and make the most of the business opportunities on show,” he says. “Whether you’re part of a larger group, a business owner or simply someone with a keen interest in the latest products and services to enter the Australian roads and civil market, this show is for you.”

The Australian roads and civil sector has shown its support of the new Roads & Civil Works Expo since it was announced. “Viva Energy Australia and Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA) have been on board with the show since the beginning and AustStab has since joined as an Association Partner,” he says.

Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) and GraysOnline are recent additions to the list of industry bodies supporting the show. CCF comes on board as an Association Partner of the Roads & Civil Works Expo, while GraysOnline is the show bag sponsor across the entire event.

“Having the support of such top industry associations and organisations shows us that the Australian roads and civil sector understands the significance of the Expo and that it is going to be the place to do business in 2016,” he says.

A plethora of exhibitors, from all areas of the industry, will be at the venue showcasing their wares, and more continue to sign up to exhibit as the event draws closer.

“A wide array of service providers from all corners of the Australian roads and civil sector are using the expo to show the industry exactly what they do and how their products and services can work for them,” he says.

Phillro Industries, for example, will be showcasing the latest in Graco line marking technology – the Graco LineLazer V 250DC, Dual Colour Striper. “People visiting the show will see some impressive machinery and products up close, including cutting-edge safety solutions, market leading asset management systems, excavators, track loaders, tanks, trailers and more,” adds Coburn.

“We’ve got everything from asphalt transportation through the likes of Muscat Trailers’ live-bottom units and Ultimate Plant Trailers’ expertise in manufacturing custom-built plant/tag trailers,” explains Coburn.

Added to that is the broad range of companies specialising in road maintenance solutions, such as Earthco Projects with its innovative road stabilisation product – PolyCom Stabilising Aid.

“The big bonus is that the Roads & Civil Works Expo is just one of three major components of the wider show,” explains Coburn. “Let’s not forget Waste Management in Action, which will provide a number crossovers for many councils, contractors and local government in the Australian roads and civil sector.

“Likewise, the well-established ITTES is the perfect partner to the Roads & Civil Works Expo. Contractors and

organisations within the Australian roads sector will find some obvious value in heading towards the ITTES section of the show to see the latest trucks, trailers and equipment hitting the market.”
