Roads & Civil Works Expo hits the ground running

The inaugural Roads & Civil Works Expo is gearing up to be the place to conduct business in 2016, with interest high and allocated spaces going fast.

Since its official launch in August, the Expo has created a hive of interest within the roads and civil construction sector. Half of the spaces in the main outdoor area have been allocated and another 50 per cent of the available shell schemes are booked too.

“We’ve had an incredible start to the inaugural Roads & Civil Works Expo. The fact that we’re getting such a positive response from the industry so early on shows that May next year will be a very exciting time indeed,” explained Show Director, Simon Coburn.

Run in conjunction with the International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show 2016 (ITTES2016) and Waste Management in Action, the Roads and Civil Works Expo will take over the Melbourne Showgrounds from 5 – 7 May.

“It’s the ideal setting for business development and network opportunities for suppliers and top players across the whole industry,” said Coburn. “The limited premium spaces – set inside Australia’s largest transport exhibition – will provide a world-class platform for the industry.”

Aimed at drawing in key decision-makers in the Australian roads and civil construction sector, including contractors, construction companies, federal, state and local government representatives, road industry suppliers and more, the first ever Roads & Civil Works Expo will be a major industry highlight in 2016.

A dedicated Education and Careers Pavilion and the Moving Display zone as well as a a Test Track, where guests can experience the latest equipment in action, are already proving to be major draw cards for companies in signing up for the Expo.

“That’s something you can’t have anywhere else so industry is jumping at the opportunity. It’s an exciting option for companies that wish to showcase how a product will perform in real life and a unique selling point for the Expo as a whole,” Coburn said.

“As a combined indoor and outdoor event, the Melbourne Showgrounds setting caters to some really exciting opportunities to exhibit both static and mobile displays.”

Coburn said that with key industry leaders such as Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA) and Viva Energy Australia on board as the Expo’s Foundation Partners, the inaugural Roads & Civil Works Expo is the one event the Australian roads and civil construction sector won’t want to miss.

“With strong industry support already behind us, it’s clear that the first ever Roads & Civil Works Expo will set the bar for roads and civil construction trade shows across the country.”

Exhibition space is available for sale now.
