Civil Contractors Federation latest organisation to support 2016 Roads & Civil Works Expo

Peak civil construction industry association Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) has joined the 2016 Roads & Civil Works Expo as its latest Association Partner.

The association joins the likes of Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA), AustStab and Viva Energy Australia as one of the industry-leading organisations supporting the inaugural expo.

CCF’s General Manager Training Services Rob Garrard explains that the core focus of the Expo was key in the association’s decision to come on board as an Association Partner.

“The content of the expo is around civil construction so it is a good event to be a part of,” he says. Directed at the contractors, engineers, innovators and decision-makers in the roads and civil construction market, the expo is directly attracting the audience CCF represents and supports through its membership.

Mr. Garrard says that the with the expo being in Melbourne, it’s a great opportunity to engage with Victoria-based contractors and promote what CCF does and how individuals and companies can benefit from being a part of the association.

“The last few years have been pretty tough for people in the civil construction. Coming on board with the expo shows that CCF is supporting the industry, and part of that is being recognised as an industry organisation that is out and about,” he says.

In supporting the show, CCF is reinforcing its position as a leading industry association in the Australian civil construction market.

“We’re a voice for the industry – we’re advocating for our members and for the industry.”
